# §502.105. Waiver of rules governing enlargement of time and postponement of hearings.


Except as otherwise provided by law the presiding officer, for good cause, may reduce or enlarge any time limit prescribed in the rules of this Part, may waive the requirements of §§ [502.102](/cfr/46/502.102.md) and [502.104](/cfr/46/502.104.md) for replies, and may rule ex parte on requests submitted under those rules.
