# §34.50-1. Application—TB/ALL.

- (a) The provisions of this subpart, with the exception of §§ [34.50-80](/cfr/46/34.50-80.md) and [34.50-90](/cfr/46/34.50-90.md), must apply to all vessels contracted for on or after August 22, 2016.
- (b) Vessels contracted for prior to August 22, 2016 but on or after January 1, 1962, must meet the requirements of [§ 34.50-80](/cfr/46/34.50-80.md).
- (c) All vessels contracted for prior to January 1, 1962, must meet the requirements of [§ 34.50-90](/cfr/46/34.50-90.md).
