# §32.56-35. Doors—T/ALL.

- (a) Casing doors in category A machinery spaces and all elevator doors must be self-closing and must meet the requirements of [46 CFR 72.05-25(b)](/cfr/46/72.05-25.md?p=b).
- (b) If a means of holding a door open is used, it must be a magnetic holdback or equivalent device that is operated from the bridge or other suitable remote control position.
