# §32.40-1. Application—TB/ALL.

- (a) The provisions of this subpart, except [§ 32.40-60](/cfr/46/32.40-60.md) and [§ 32.40-65](/cfr/46/32.40-65.md), apply to all tankships of 100 gross tons and over constructed on or after June 15, 1987.
- (b) Tankships of less than 100 gross tons and manned tank barges must meet the requirements of [§ 32.40-60](/cfr/46/32.40-60.md).
- (c) Tankships of 100 gross tons and over constructed prior to June 15, 1987, must meet the requirements of [§ 32.40-65](/cfr/46/32.40-65.md).
