# §201.172. Time for filing petition to reopen.


Except for good cause shown, and upon leave granted, petition to reopen under [§ 201.174](/cfr/46/201.174.md), shall be filed with the Administration within twenty (20) days after the date of service of the Administration's decision or order in the proceeding, unless a different period is fixed under [§ 201.54](/cfr/46/201.54.md).
