# §2.01-20. Suspension or revocation of certificates of inspection.


Under the authority if 46 U.S.C. [3313](/usc/46/3313.md) and [46](/usc/46/46.md) U.S.C. 3710, a certificate of inspection issued to a vessel may be suspended or revoked if a vessel is found not to comply with the terms of its certificate or fails to meet a standard required by this chapter.
