# §174.190. Collision bulkhead.

- (a) Each OSV must have a collision bulkhead in compliance with §§ [171.085(c)(1)](/cfr/46/171.085.md?p=c-1), [(d)](/cfr/46/171.085.md?p=c-d), [(e)(2)](/cfr/46/171.085.md?p=e-2), and [(f)](/cfr/46/171.085.md?p=e-f) of this chapter.
- (b) Penetration of the collision bulkhead by piping must be minimal, and, where fitted, piping must meet the requirements of §§ [56.50-1(b)(1)](/cfr/46/56.50-1.md?p=b-1) and [(c)](/cfr/46/56.50-1.md?p=b-c) and [128.230](/cfr/46/128.230.md) of this chapter.
