# §169.662. Hazardous locations.


Electrical equipment must not be installed in lockers that are used to store paint, oil, turpentine, or other flammable liquids unless the equipment is explosion-proof or intrinsically safe in accordance with [§ 111.105-9](/cfr/46/111.105-9.md) or [§ 111.105-11](/cfr/46/111.105-11.md) of this chapter.
