# §161.002-10. Fire detection system control unit.

- (a) **General.** The fire detection system control unit must meet the requirements of [§ 111.01-9](/cfr/46/111.01-9.md) of this chapter.
- (b) **Electrical supervision—** Circuits. The circuits must comply with Chapter 23 of NFPA 72 (incorporated by reference, see [§ 161.002-1](/cfr/46/161.002-1.md)), and must be Class A or Class X pathway.
