# §148.70. Dangerous cargo manifest; general.

- (a) Except as provided in [paragraph (b)](#b) of this section and in [§ 148.72](/cfr/46/148.72.md) of this part, each vessel transporting materials listed in Table 148.10 of this part must have a dangerous cargo manifest on board.
- (b) This document must be kept in a designated holder on or near the vessel's bridge. When required for an unmanned barge, the document must be on board the tug or towing vessel.
