# §147.100. Radioactive materials.

- (a) Radioactive materials must not be brought on board, used in any manner, or stored on the vessel, unless the use of the materials is authorized by a current license issued by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) under 10 CFR parts [30](/cfr/10/part30.md) and [34](/cfr/10/part34.md).
- (b) Stowage of radioactive materials must conform to the requirements of the NRC license.
