# §143.415. Navigation lights.

- (a) Towing vessels more than 65 feet in length must use navigation lights that meet UL 1104 (incorporated by reference, see [§ 136.112](/cfr/46/136.112.md) of this subchapter) or other standards accepted by the Coast Guard.
- (b) Towing vessels 65 feet or less in length may meet the requirements listed in [33 CFR 183.810](/cfr/33/183.810.md) or [paragraph (a)](#a) of this section.
