# §126.130. Cranes.

- (a) Except as provided by [paragraph (b)](#b) of this section, cranes, if installed, must comply with §§ [107.258 through 107.260](/cfr/46/107.258..107.260.md), [108.601](/cfr/46/108.601.md), [109.437](/cfr/46/109.437.md), [109.439](/cfr/46/109.439.md), [109.521](/cfr/46/109.521.md), [109.525](/cfr/46/109.525.md), and [109.527](/cfr/46/109.527.md) of this chapter.
- (b) The manufacturer of a crane may have tests and inspections conducted in compliance with [§ 107.259](/cfr/46/107.259.md) of this chapter, if the surveyor conducting them for the American Bureau of Shipping or the International Cargo Gear Bureau certifies their conduct as required by [§ 107.259(c)](/cfr/46/107.259.md?p=c) of this chapter.
