# §125.130. Carriage of packaged hazardous materials.


An OSV may carry packaged hazardous materials, or hazardous materials in portable tanks, if the materials are prepared, loaded, and stowed in compliance with 49 CFR parts [171](/cfr/49/part171.md) through [179](/cfr/49/part179.md), as applicable.
