# §121.502. Requirements of the Federal Communications Commission.


A vessel must comply with the applicable requirements for any radio and Electronic Position Indicating Radiobeacon (EPIRB) installations, including the requirements for a station license and installation certificates to be issued by the FCC, as set forth in [47 CFR part 80](/cfr/47/part80.md).
