# §111.35-1. Electrical propulsion installations.


Each electric propulsion installation must meet [Sections 4-8-5](/cfr/46/4-8-5.md)/5.5, 4-8-5/5.11, 4-8-5/5.13, 4-8-5/5.17.7(e), 4-8-5/5.17.8, and 4-8-5/5.17.9 of ABS Marine Vessel Rules (incorporated by reference; see [§ 110.10-1](/cfr/46/110.10-1.md) of this subchapter), except that each one for mobile offshore drilling units must meet the requirements in [section 6-1-7](/cfr/46/6-1-7.md)/12 of ABS MOU Rules (incorporated by reference; see [§ 110.10-1](/cfr/46/110.10-1.md) of this subchapter).
