# §11.551. Endorsements for service on offshore supply vessels.


Each endorsement for service on offshore supply vessels (OSVs) as Chief Engineer-OSV or Engineer-OSV authorizes service on OSVs as defined in [46 U.S.C. 2101](/usc/46/2101.md) and as interpreted under [46 U.S.C. 14104(b)](/usc/46/14104.md?p=b), subject to any restrictions placed on the MMC.
