# §109.339. Location of fire axes.


The master or person in charge shall insure that the fire axes required in [§ 108.499](/cfr/46/108.499.md) of this subchapter are located in the enclosures for fire hoses marked in accordance with [§ 108.633](/cfr/46/108.633.md) of this subchapter, if the fire axes are not located in plain view.
