# §107.415. Safety Management Certificate.

- (a) All self-propelled mobile offshore drilling units of 500 gross tons or over to which [33 CFR part 96](/cfr/33/part96.md) applies, on an international voyage must have a valid Safety Management Certificate and a copy of their company's valid Document of Compliance certificate on board.
- (b) **A Safety Management Certificate is issued for a period of not more than 60 months.**
