# §10.412. Distance and e-learning.


The Coast Guard may allow the training of mariners by means of distance learning and e-learning in accordance with the standards of training and assessment set forth in section B-I/6 (Training and assessment) of the STCW Code (incorporated by reference, see [§ 10.103](/cfr/46/10.103.md) of this part).
