# §4.4. Acknowledgement of mailed process.


The Department will not provide a receipt or other acknowledgement of process received, except for a return receipt associated with certified mail and, where required, the acknowledgement specified by [Rule 4(c)(2)(C)](/cfr/45/4.md?p=c-2-C) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
