# §261.25. Do we count Tribal families in calculating the work participation rate?


At State option, we will include families with a work-eligible individual that are receiving assistance under an approved Tribal family assistance plan or under a Tribal work program in calculating the State's participation rates under §§ [261.22](/cfr/45/261.22.md) and [261.24](/cfr/45/261.24.md).
