# §2556.165. What Fair Labor Standards apply to VISTA sponsors and subrecipients?


All sponsors and subrecipients that employ laborers and mechanics for construction, alteration, or repair of facilities must pay wages at prevailing rates as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended, [40 U.S.C. 276a](/usc/40/276a.md).
