# §2520.5. What definitions apply to this part?


AmeriCorps means the Corporation for National and Community Service, established pursuant to [section 191](/cfr/45/191.md) of the National and Community Service Act of 1990, as amended, [42 U.S.C. 12651](/usc/42/12651.md), which operates as AmeriCorps.
