# §2517.100. Who may apply for a direct grant from the Corporation?

- (a) The following entities may apply for a direct grant from the Corporation: (1) A State Commission established under [part 2550](/cfr/45/part2550.md) of this chapter.
  - (2) A grantmaking entity as defined in [§ 2510.20](/cfr/45/2510.20.md) of this chapter.
  - (3) A qualified organization as defined in [§ 2515.20](/cfr/45/2515.20.md) of this chapter.
- (b) The types of grants for which each entity is eligible are described in [§ 2517.200](/cfr/45/2517.200.md).
