# §2506.9. What rights do I have as a debtor?


As a debtor you have several basic rights. You have a right to:

- (a) Notice as set forth in these regulations (see [§ 2506.14](/cfr/45/2506.14.md));
- (b) Inspect the records that the Corporation has used to determine that you owe a debt (see [§ 2506.14](/cfr/45/2506.14.md));
- (c) Request review of the debt and possible payment options (see [§ 2506.17](/cfr/45/2506.17.md));
- (d) Propose a voluntary repayment agreement (see [§ 2506.19](/cfr/45/2506.19.md)); and/or
- (e) Question if the debt is excluded from these regulations (see [§ 2506.5(b)](/cfr/45/2506.5.md?p=b)).
