# §1329.11. DSE eligibility and application.

- (a) Any designated State entity (DSE) identified by the State and included in the signed SPIL pursuant to [section 704(c)](/cfr/45/704.md?p=c) is eligible to apply for assistance under this part in accordance with section 704 of the Act, [29 U.S.C. 796c](/usc/29/796c.md).
- (b) To receive financial assistance under Parts B and C of chapter 1 of title VII, a State shall submit to the Administrator and obtain approval of a State plan that meets the requirements of section 704 of the Act, [29 U.S.C. 796c](/usc/29/796c.md).
- (c) Allotments to states are determined in accordance with section 711 of the Act, [29 U.S.C. 796e](/usc/29/796e.md).
