# §102.2. Applicability date.


The increased penalty amounts set forth in the right-most column of the table in [Section 102.3](/cfr/45/102.3.md), “Maximum Adjusted Penalty ($)”, apply to all civil monetary penalties which are assessed after August 1, 2016, including those penalties whose associated violations occurred after November 2, 2015.
