# §206.370. Purpose and scope.

- (a) **Purpose.** [Sections 206.370 through 206.377](/cfr/44/206.370..206.377.md) provide procedures for local governments and State and Federal officials concerning the Special Community Disaster Loans program under section 417 of the Stafford Act ([42 U.S.C. 5184](/usc/42/5184.md)), the Community Disaster Loan Act of 2005, Public Law 109-88, and the Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act for Defense, the Global War on Terror, and Hurricane Recovery, 2006, Public Law 109-234.
- (b) **Scope.** [Sections 206.370 through 206.377](/cfr/44/206.370..206.377.md) apply only to Special Community Disaster Loans issued under the Community Disaster Loan Act of 2005, Public Law 109-88, and the Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act for Defense, the Global War on Terror, and Hurricane Recovery, 2006, Public Law 109-234.
