# §206.220. General.


This subpart provides policies and procedures for determinations of eligibility of applicants for public assistance, eligibility of work, and eligibility of costs for assistance under sections [402](/cfr/44/402.md), [403](/cfr/44/403.md), [406](/cfr/44/406.md), [407](/cfr/44/407.md), [418](/cfr/44/418.md), [419](/cfr/44/419.md), [421(d)](/cfr/44/421.md?p=d), [502](/cfr/44/502.md), and [503](/cfr/44/503.md) of the Stafford Act. Assistance under this subpart must also conform to requirements of [44 CFR part 201](/cfr/44/part201.md), Mitigation Planning, [44 CFR part 206](/cfr/44/part206.md), [subparts G](/cfr/44/subpartG.md)—Public Assistance Project Administration, I—Public Assistance Insurance Requirements, J—Coastal Barrier Resources Act, and M—Minimum Standards, [44 CFR part 9](/cfr/44/part9.md)—Floodplain Management, and other applicable environmental and historic preservation laws, regulations, Executive Orders, and agency policy.
