# §8360.0-3. Authority.


The regulations of this part are issued under the provisions of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 ([43 U.S.C. 1701](/usc/43/1701.md), et seq.), the Sikes Act ([16 U.S.C. 670g](/usc/16/670g.md)), the Taylor Grazing Act ([43 U.S.C. 315a](/usc/43/315a.md)), the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act ([16 U.S.C. 1281c](/usc/16/1281c.md)), the Act of September 18, 1960, as amended, ([16 U.S.C. 877](/usc/16/877.md), et seq.), the National Trails System Act ([16 U.S.C. 1241](/usc/16/1241.md), et seq.), and the Paleontological Resources Preservation Act ([16 U.S.C. 470aaa](/usc/16/470aaa.md) et seq.).
