# §50.32. May the deadlines in this part be extended?


Yes. Upon a finding of good cause, the Secretary may extend any deadline in [§ 50.30](/cfr/43/50.30.md) or [§ 50.31](/cfr/43/50.31.md) by a maximum of 90 days and post on the Department Web site the length of and the reasons for the extension: Provided, that any request for an extension of time is in writing and sets forth good cause.
