# §49.555. What procedures govern an appeal of an administrative law judge's decision?

- (a) Upon receipt of a notice of appeal filed under [§ 49.550(a)](/cfr/43/49.550.md?p=a), the OHA Director will appoint an Ad Hoc Board of Appeals to consider the appeal and issue a decision thereon.
- (b) To the extent not inconsistent with the provisions of this subpart, the rules in [43 CFR part 4](/cfr/43/part4.md), subparts [A](/cfr/43/subpartA.md), [B](/cfr/43/subpartB.md), and G, will apply to the appeal proceedings under [§ 49.550](/cfr/43/49.550.md).
