# §48.35. When must the Secretary determine if the proposed amendment requires Congressional approval?


The Secretary will review the documents submitted by the Chairman, and if they meet the requirements of [§ 48.15](/cfr/43/48.15.md), the Secretary will determine within 60 days after receiving them if the proposed amendment requires Congressional approval.
