# §4150.4-2. Impoundment.


After 5 days from delivery of the notice under [§ 4150.4-1(a)](/cfr/43/4150.4-1.md?p=a) of this title or any time after 5 days from publishing and posting the notice under [§ 4150.4-1(b)](/cfr/43/4150.4-1.md?p=b) of this title, unauthorized livestock may be impounded without further notice any time within the 12-month period following the effective date of the notice.
