# §3905.10. Oil shale lease exchanges.


To facilitate the recovery of oil shale, the BLM may consider land exchanges where appropriate and feasible to consolidate land ownership and mineral interest into manageable areas. Exchanges are covered under [part 2200](/cfr/43/part2200.md) of this chapter.
