# §3513.11. May BLM relieve me of the lease requirements of rental, minimum royalty, or production royalty while continuing to hold the lease?


Yes. The BLM has a process that may allow you temporary relief from these lease requirements in accordance with [30 U.S.C. 209](/usc/30/209.md).
