# §3410.0-3. Authority.

- (a) These regulations are issued under the authority of the statutes listed in [§ 3400.0-3](/cfr/43/3400.0-3.md) of this title.
- (b) These regulations primarily implement section 2(b) of the Mineral Leasing Act of 1920, as amended by section 4 of the Federal Coal Leasing Amendments Act of 1976 ([30 U.S.C. 201(b)](/usc/30/201.md?p=b)).
