# §3206.10. What must I do for BLM to issue a lease?


Before BLM issues any lease, you must:

- (a) Accept all lease stipulations;
- (b) Make all required payments to BLM;
- (c) Sign a unit joinder or waiver, if applicable; and
- (d) Comply with the maximum limit on acreage holdings (see §§ [3206.12](/cfr/43/3206.12.md) and [3206.16](/cfr/43/3206.16.md)).
