# §3175.42. Chart recorders.


Chart recorders used in conjunction with approved differential-type meters that are installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with the standards in [§ 3175.90](/cfr/43/3175.90.md) are approved for use for low-volume and very-low-volume FMPs only, and are not approved for high-volume or very-high-volume FMPs.
