# §2920.0-3. Authority.


Sections [302](/cfr/43/302.md), [303](/cfr/43/303.md) and [310](/cfr/43/310.md) of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (43 U.S.C. [1732](/usc/43/1732.md), [1733](/usc/43/1733.md), [1740](/usc/43/1740.md)) authorize the Secretary of the Interior to issue regulations providing for the use, occupancy, and development of the public lands through leases, permits, and easements.
