# §2569.100. What is the purpose of this subpart?


The purpose of this subpart is to implement [section 1119](/cfr/43/1119.md) of the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act of March 12, 2019, Public Law 116-9, codified at [43 U.S.C. 1629g-1](/usc/43/1629g-1.md), which allows Eligible Individuals to receive an allotment of a single parcel of available Federal lands in Alaska containing not less than 2.5 acres and not more than 160 acres.
