# §2520.0-3. Authority.


The Act of March 3, 1877 (19 Stat. 377; [43 U.S.C. 321-323](/usc/43/321-323.md)) as amended by the Act of March 3, 1891 (26 Stat. 1096; 43 U.S.C. [231](/usc/43/231.md), [323](/usc/43/323.md), [325](/usc/43/325.md), [327-329](/usc/43/327-329.md)), provides for the making of desert-land entries in the States of Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
