# §2.222. Records subject to Privacy Act.


The Privacy Act applies to all “records,” as that term is defined in [§ 2.46(e)](/cfr/43/2.46.md?p=e), which the Department maintains in a “system of records,” as that term is defined in [§ 2.46(f)](/cfr/43/2.46.md?p=f).
