# §1823.11. What is the authority for BLM issuing a refund of a payment?


BLM can issue you a refund under the authority of [section 304(c)](/cfr/43/304.md?p=c) of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act, [43 U.S.C. 1734](/usc/43/1734.md).
