# §51.3. Formula for determining allotments.


The Secretary shall make allotments to eligible Systems from amounts apportioned each year under the Act on the basis of a formula prescribed by the Secretary in accordance with the requirements of sections 112 and 113 of the Act (42 U.S.C. [10822](/usc/42/10822.md) and [10823](/usc/42/10823.md)).
