# §485.546. Condition of participation: Skilled nursing facility distinct part unit.


If the REH provides skilled nursing facility services in a distinct part unit, the services furnished by the distinct part unit must be separately licensed and certified and comply with the requirements of participation for long-term care facilities specified in [part 483](/cfr/42/part483.md), [subpart B](/cfr/42/subpartB.md), of this chapter.
