# §480.109. Applicability of other statutes and regulations.


The provisions of 42 U.S.C. [290dd-3](/usc/42/290dd-3.md) and [290ee-3](/usc/42/290ee-3.md) governing confidentiality of alcohol and drug abuse patients' records, and the implementing regulations at [42 CFR part 2](/cfr/42/part2.md), are applicable to QIO information.
