# §431.816. Case review completion deadlines and submittal of reports.

- (a) The State must complete case reviews and submit reports of findings to CMS as specified in [paragraph (b)](#b) of this section in the form and at the time specified by CMS.
- (b) In addition to the reporting requirements specified in [§ 431.814](/cfr/42/431.814.md) relating to the MEQC pilot planning document, the State must complete case reviews and submit reports of findings to CMS in accordance with paragraphs [(b)(1)](#b-1) and [(2)](#b-2) of this section.
  - (1) For all active and negative cases reviewed, the State must submit a detailed case-level report in a format provided by CMS.
  - (2) All case-level findings will be due by August 1 following the end of the MEQC review period.
