# §416.60. General rules.

- (a) The services payable under this part are facility services furnished to Medicare beneficiaries, by a participating facility, in connection with covered surgical procedures specified in [§ 416.65](/cfr/42/416.65.md).
- (b) The surgical procedures, including all preoperative and post-operative services that are performed by a physician, are covered as physician services under [part 410](/cfr/42/part410.md) of this chapter.
